California Farmers' Markets

I love seeing all the yummy fruits and vegetables at our renowned outdoor markets. Los Angeles has such a plethora of produce to tempt the palette. I enjoy wandering around the different stands buying clothes at the Farmer's Market in Silverlake, dark green veggies and plump red peppers at the one in Hollywood, and the one in Santa Monica is truly quite extraordinary.

  1. Have you been to the one in South Pasadena? It's small but really good. There's a lady there who has the best salsa! I go whenever I can just to buy her salsa.

  2. One of the nice things about summer is all the great fruit like cherries, peaches, plums and of course all of the berries. And what better place to buy them than at a farmer's market. There's a really good farmer's market in West Hollywood on Sunset across from the old Tower Records. They have live music and the restaurants in the area serve meals.

  3. I love the one on sunset. Another good one, is the one in downtown. The only bad thing about there is parking. I like to go to this type of places. I actually found a really cool one in downtown as well . I know it's on 6 th street but I do not recall the other street. Everything is so cheap there.

  4. Farmer's markets reminds me of the ones they have in Hong Kong. Fresh fruits and veggies are what I buy most. Hong Kong's farmer's markets also sell fresh seafood, meat, and poultry too. You can buy everything all in one place.
